I had a very expensive Garmin Nuvi prior to this that I paid $600 for 2.5 years ago. The antenna terminated working so taken to purchase another on ASAP as I use it to locomote equally a sales rep for my company. I decided that rather than spending another $600 or even $300, I was locomoting to effort a less expensive unit. I found the this unit for $99 and decided that at tomtom xl 330s gps $99 I did not experience much to lose if I did not alike it. Besides, Amazon is keen about returns.Long story short – this unit is great. The mounting bracket is self contained so it is smaller to transferral than some other units. This unit also has text to speech, which is rare for less expensive units. It does not do uneeded features for me alike maneuver MP3s. It gets me from poitn A to direct B with slow to pursue instructions. bought this unit for the encompassing screen and street advert instructions feature – experience used for two vacation trips to unfamiliar areas and therefore far it is everything I expected. Identical accurate, good instructions, good street mention pronunciation and very flying rerouting if wrong turn taken. First unit I had had out of date maps which tommtom would not update for free, just Amazon apace shipped me a replacement unit that updated maps free at tomtom habitation with no problem. Amazon really stands behind the items I get purchased through them.
