At first, I would get rated this laptop 5 star. Ran fine, easily upgradable, sleek, etc. After a few months of using, I commenced getting lockups. Instantly they are daily. No, it’s not a virus. I tried contacting technical digest – less intelligence there than a cable society tech stand line. In fact, the outgrowth L755-S5350 is “send us the laptop and we will ship you a repaired laptop”. Lastly time I did that (a different electronics device) I received back a device that was understandably used, abused, and in worse condition. My next purchase will be a Dell.

I bought the 6424 rather than the 6870 and my review is of the 6242 not the 6870 which are the same except for an upgraded video card – Nvidia, in the 6242. When I bought the 6242 it was 50 dollars more expensive than the 6870 and the upgraded video card seemed worthwhile. Since then Amazon has expended the cost of the 6870 which is immediately approximately 150 dollars less expensive. I receive not utilized or compared the 6870 only did utilization a Toshiba Portege which uses the same intel video chip as the 6870 and while the 6242 received in my ruling a ameliorate video picture than the Toshiba, if I were doing it over, I would not wage an additional $150 for the 6242.

The Toshiba Portege and the Asus which match the Acers are both several hundred dollars more expensive and arrived with some marginally upgraded equipment; a 7200 rpm hard drive on the Asus and 6 gigabytes as opposed Acer Aspire TimelineX AS3830T-6870 to 4 on the Acer equally well as a DVD drive on the Toshiba, for me neither of these was decent of an incentive to expend the extra money. 2 gb of ram doesn’t cost0 $200 dollars and an upgrade hard drive the same. Acer does not offer this option. I do plan when solid country drives both gone larger and less expensive to swap my 5400 rpm drive away for one.

I bought this laptop for school & therefore far it looks alike a good lot for the money I paid for it. Microsoft Billet Starter 2010 comes on it & isn’t a trial, therefore that was a plus. I searched and searched and searched and stumbled on this laptop. There are a luck of good features, which is exactly what I was look for if I was going to Acer AS5560-Sb256 expend a crew of money at all. There is some bloatware, just not a circumstances at all. The exclusively reason I’m openhanded 4/5 stars is because of the webcam. It’s good quality, only when my boyfriend & I are on moment messenger he says it always messes up and the movie goes all black. Overall, however, I’m extremely happy with this laptop. (:

We all know this is an incredible purchase for the price, except for the reviews. I looked into this machine long and hard before I purchased it. Many from many vendors haved came “doa” and likewise had issues with the powerfulness button. Substantially believe it or not you could prepare it yourself in almost 5 seconds, all5 you have to do is swipe a magnet over the palmrest expanse (I snuff from properly to left across the bottom) and wham your laptop WILL act on. The macbook detected it, required if I wanted to install and viola i was able to print. It just does therefore many things tardily than the pc and I didn’t consider it would. The battery liveliness is not as peachy equally claimed but I expected that being an iphone, ipad user apple incessantly exaggerates battery life. it does induce hot and fan may be loud, only i think the reviews that gripe almost8 that MD322LL/A aren’t factoring in that wholly laptops are alike that, it’s not simply1 a symptom of the macbook.
