The stellar reviews around here offered me, but I would be a little wary of “TCL.” (???) Turns out “The Creative Life” isn’t likely to disappear overnight. It’s a sizable brand name in Asia which has a very public corporate structure, website, global facilities, etc. Seems like they’ve even L32HDF11TA won a few design accolades in Europe. Simply Google or have a look at [...]. Who knows? May be the next LG, which you may recall began because craptastic Goldstar and just moved up after a while.
How about the TV? I’ve had mine for just a week or two, but I am just uber-impressed. The price is obviously monster. Tons of hook-ups. The color will be rich and lively (other reviews point out you need to tweak along with, but I have yet to individual a TV for which you don’t.) The exterior will not feel or search cheap, with a nice finish (aptly identified as “piano” finish by another person here.)
Sound is certainly not to write home with regards to. I’d say the top end of average. Second range is fine, and not much bass. It does not come close to my personal old Sony Trinitron pipe, but we often operate this through a shelf CD system at any rate, so no big deal. Comes with an equalizer, but actually, it was useless. Couldn’t hear much distinction playing with it. Yet, it’s fine for informal viewing and you can usually run sound upon anything with an reliable input.
Also impressed by the user interface: six to eight usable picture presets (and also user-set option), four looking at modes (normal, entire, cinerama, zoom), easy food selection navigation, fast response… No complaints in any way.
We haven’t tried your USB picture-view input yet, so I can’t directory of that. But all in all, we’re thrilled for you to nab this at $259.
Also pulled in a ton of OTA routes with our indoor aerial, but that would differ by location obviously. And with the 15-pin D-sub input, this doubles as a mobile computer monitor. Our strategy? Ditch cable! With free OTA, Hulu, Netflix, MLBTV.internet and anything else you can find online, seems like a great way to possess this paid for in some short months.
Any thing… Our blu-ray person, which auto-synchs to the Televisions highest resolution, read it as “1080p.” I suppose that’s some sort of miscommunication involving the two, but We’ve heard of other off brands arriving much better than advertised, so we have been gonna go ahead and take advantage of the “1080p” ride!
